Exurbs is a studio project borne of three sonic explorers. Over the course of a year and a half, Beau Sorenson (whose engineering credits include Sparklehorse and Death Cab for Cutie), Jeff Sauer (Czarbles), and Andrew Fitzpatrick (All Tiny Creatures) joined forces and assembled a collection of songs that explore the cosmic outer edges of instrumental pop / rock.
Presented by Zod Records, Exurbs is available for immediate download (with digital booklet containing six high-resolution song images), and will also be offered as a limited-edition cassette in the very near future.
